Once the user chooses the desired length and route, they simply cut to fit, crimp and wrap. That’s it! Now if your SI takes a hit and comes off the rail it will be securely tethered by the S.I.A.P. system. The S.I.A.P. cable easily runs along side existing light or designator cables as shown is the above. Perhaps the key feature of the S.I.A.P. system, is the ability to remove and remount as many times as needed. Once assembled, all it takes is a few turns of the Allen key and your SI can be pulled from its home on your rail for service and or cleaning. Afterwards simply return to the previous mounting and cable route location. This removes the need to cut zip-ties, tape or 550 cord to re-apply.
